Configuration Report via MDOpen VS Code Extension
Hello to all the MDChange folks!
This tech tip talks about the Configuration Report which provides information on every detail about the MDChange configuration from applications to levels, job descriptions, distribution, templates, commands, etc. Up until now, this information was available only via the IBMi 5250 session, using option 1 followed by option 21. You then had to export this information to an excel spreadsheet. In other words, multiple steps involved and it took time.
Now, we have made this information available in MDOpen in VS Code. This short video shows you how to access that information via VS Code and provides you a lot more functionality.
